Think Safety Even In Cooler Months!

Even though the weather is cooler now and some feel winter is just around the corner, drownings are still possible. Parents are encouraged to be aware of environments that drownings can happen in even during fall and winter months. Some areas of concern for drowning of children are:
*Bathtubs
*Toilets
*Mop buckets
*Wells
*Ice covered ponds

Drowning is not limited to pools and lakes during the warmer months. They can happen year round.

Although our swimming academy is seasonal, we want everyone to be aware of the fact that safety around water is always on our minds. When we come across an interesting fact or article on swimming or water safety we will be posting on our blog this winter.

Also, remember to keep checking for the posting of classes in February for summer of 2011!
